Job Summary
Articulate and evangelize a bold technical vision for your domain while decomposing complex problems into practical, operational solutions. Serve as an authoritative expert on non-functional system characteristics, ensuring quality in technical design and implementation across scalable compute capacity and edge network infrastructure. Drive innovation by automating the "software glue" that powers distributed connectivity landscapes, utilizing agentic technologies for cross-organizational integrations and establishing a code-first posture. Lead through technical contribution by mentoring internal talent, coaching the engineering community, and creating clear communications to share knowledge both inside and outside the organization. Balance multiple projects simultaneously to maximize impact while promoting a culture of engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and system architecture
- At least 7 years of experience in network engineering and architecture
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience coding in commonly used languages like Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, etc.
- 8+ years of experience with networking (BGP, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, Cloud Networking and Data Center Networking)
- 8+ years of professional experience in the full lifecycle of system development, from conception through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and production support
- 3+ years of experience with public or private cloud technologies
- Experience with service routing and application traffic engineering
- Experience with infrastructure automation architecture
