Job Summary
Lead the district's distribution work plan (DWP) execution, providing overall leadership and supervision of planning/scheduling teams; collaborate with PMO, distribution engineering and operations; ensure safety per AEP standards and drive budget alignment; coach and develop staff, set objectives, and communicate priorities to achieve customer satisfaction and improved system reliability; require experience in construction or distribution work plans, budgeting, and strong data & analytics skills; validation of Equal Employment Opportunity obligations and a focus on a culture of excellence; location near Columbus, OH area with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field with minimum 5 years experience managing work plans, construction or distribution line and operations OR Associate's degree with minimum 7 years experience OR High School diploma/GED with minimum 9 years experience; 5 years direct supervisory experience preferred; Valid State driver's license required; PMP is a plus but not required; Strong analytical skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SmartSheet; Excellent verbal and written communication; Knowledge of distribution work management, policies and procedures; Understanding of distribution operations, design and construction.
