Job Summary
Manage pharmacy operations by supporting the Pharmacy Manager in directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, overseeing patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory, and financial profitability. Balance daily workflow, loss prevention, and customer service while leading patient care programs to improve health outcomes. Motivate and develop support staff by assigning tasks that maximize strengths and address development needs. Identify business opportunities to drive growth and implement solutions that align with pharmacy goals. Adapt to changing community healthcare settings and foster a collaborative team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
- Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
