Job Summary
Design and build store product displays per the Department Manager, creating 20–25 displays weekly. Work with the Inventory Control Specialist to submit write-offs and maintain inventory for materials, while creating a monthly calendar planning all displays. Use power tools, measuring tools, and basic tools like hammers and saws to execute tasks in a warehouse environment with moderate noise. Exert force to lift and move objects while standing, walking, and reaching frequently. Perform duties Monday through Sunday, including store hours from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- One year of construction or building experience
- Demonstrated ability to abide by and exhibit proactive adherence to all safety regulations and policies
- Demonstrated experience in Wood working
- Demonstrated experience in Tile setting
- Use of power tools
- Use of measuring tools
- Use of basic tools (e.g., hammer, nails, T-square, saw, etc.)
- Ability exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Ability to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
