Job Summary
Part-time Pharmacist in a closed-door Long Term Care facility (Omnicare) responsible for dispensing and supervising drug distribution, ensuring accuracy of orders and labeling, potential preparation of sterile IV products, maintaining perpetual inventory for schedule II substances, and ensuring compliance with DEA/state laws and HIPAA. Requires a Colorado-licensed pharmacist with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, ability to cover evenings/weekends/holidays, and IV certification or experience preferred. The role emphasizes pharmacy management and team collaboration within a fast-paced LTC pharmacy environment, contributing to safe, accurate medication delivery and patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in Colorado
- Active & in good standing
- Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Ability to provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
- DEA and state law knowledge for controlled drug dispensing
- HIPAA compliance
