Job Summary
Dispensing Pharmacist in a closed-door Long Term Care facility (Omnicare, CVS Health). Responsible for accurate entry, security, labeling, and dispensing of medications, including sterile IV preparation if required. Maintain perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs, ensure compliance with DEA/state laws and HIPAA, and provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage. The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, quality improvement, and outstanding customer service within a LTC pharmacy. Requires Colorado pharmacist licensure and LTC pharmacy experience; IV/Immunization certification preferred. Full-time with a competitive benefits package; schedule includes 8-10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, plus weekend rotation and on-call obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in the state of Colorado
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Active and in good standing license
