Job Summary
Pharmacist in a long-term care pharmacy setting responsible for accurate order entry, maintaining security, verifying orders for accuracy, preparing and/or supervising sterile IV drug products if required, and ensuring safe, compliant dispensing and labeling. Provides evening, weekend, and holiday coverage on a rotating basis, adheres to DEA/state laws and HIPAA, and supports inventory management for schedule II drugs. Demonstrates strong customer service, leadership in quality and continuous improvement, and collaborates with the pharmacy team to deliver reliable, patient-centered care in a fast-paced LTC environment. Education required: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD; licensure in Georgia with potential preference for licensure in Mississippi and Alabama.
