Job Summary
Measure and dispense methadone and other medications in accordance with doctors' orders, FDA, DEA, and OBH regulations. Order, receive, and maintain medical records for the Opioid Treatment Program while coordinating with Supervisors and Behavioral Health Clinicians to ensure accurate dispensing. Document all methadone doses within scheduled clinic hours, observe patients for urine analyses, and report inconsistencies regarding controlled substances or potential hazards to your immediate Supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Full-time day shift hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 5 AM to 2 PM. Requires LPN or RN license for Colorado, continuing education in human services, and knowledge of applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- LPN or RN license for the State of Colorado or a multi-state license
- Continuing education in human services, psychology, and related fields
- Knowledge of applicable laws regarding medication dispensing, storage, and accountability
- Basic computer skills
- Must be available for day shift hours Tuesday - Saturday 5AM to 2PM
- Must complete a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana
- Must complete a comprehensive background check
- Must complete a TB test
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
