Job Summary
Part-Time Dispensing Nurse – LPN/LVN to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team in partnership with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. Responsibilities include administering daily medication, using automated dispensing systems, calibrating pumps and maintaining dispensing equipment, producing and maintaining records, ensuring security for controlled substances, ordering and stocking medications per DEA/state regulations, providing daily patient assessments, and assisting the Nursing Supervisor in orienting new nursing staff. Works with supervisory counseling staff to support individuals with substance use disorder within MedMark Treatment Centers' outpatient program.
Required Qualifications
- Current & good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of Indiana
- Current CPR certification required
- EMR & computer proficiency desired
- Experience in chemical dependency preferred
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
