Job Summary
Lead frontline operations by guiding Patient Care Coordinators and Customer Service representatives through daily tasks, mentor new hires, and step in as Manager on Duty when the General Manager or Supervisor II is absent. Deliver real-time coaching, resolve escalated customer concerns, and maintain strict compliance with security measures, safety policies, and Maryland state regulations. Manage front-of-house logistics by keeping shelves stocked, processing product delivery intake, approving returns, and ensuring accurate drawer operations. Educate staff and customers on cannabis strains and consumption methods while driving sales through upselling and promo highlighting. Open and close the store, verify IDs, and utilize the POS system to track inventory and secure cash flow. Requires flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 or older
- Minimum 1+ years of retail leadership or management experience
- Must be proactive, with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, strong communication, customer service and leadership skills
- Must meet timeliness consistently in fast paced environment and be able to effectively work under pressure
- Continuously open to constructive, developmental feedback
- Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry
- Must have open availability working days, nights, and weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be able to move and handle boxes of products/merchandise (weighing up to 50 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store
- Must be able to lift
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule 40 hours a week to include weekends, nights and holidays
- Must have open availability to work evenings and weekends to support the business
