Job Summary
Dispensary Supervisor role overseeing day-to-day cannabis retail store operations in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities include delivering best-in-class customer service, ensuring regulatory and corporate policy compliance, maintaining knowledge of products and strains, training and supporting staff, managing inventory and POS data entry, cash handling, security procedures, open/close duties, and collaboration with management to optimize store performance. Requires leadership abilities, ability to train new staff, strong customer service orientation, precise attention to detail, proficiency with POS and inventory systems, and knowledge of cannabis industry regulations. Must be 21+, possess a high school diploma/GED, and have 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a retail setting with POS operations.
Required Qualifications
- Cannabis experience required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2+ year in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry
- Must have excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong retail math skills
