Job Summary
Lead store operations by managing sales performance, inventory, and profitability while delivering exceptional customer service. Monitor KPIs and reports to drive weekly, monthly, and annual growth targets. Ensure employee training on POS systems, loyalty programs, and compliance protocols like METRC/BioTrack. Maintain visual standards, develop schedules for peak coverage, and handle daily cash management and end-of-day reporting. Collaborate with HR on hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions. Stay informed on market trends and regulatory changes to optimize sales strategies. Network with local organizations and community leaders as approved. Open and close the store securely, ensuring all local and state laws and inspection requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required state licenses based on work location
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years retail management experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- POS systems
- Experience with METRC or BioTrack
- Demonstrated track record of driving retail sales through effective team leadership, and personalized customer engagement, consistently exceeding sales targets and fostering a loyal customer base
- Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples
- Ability to drive proven improvements across all areas managed
