Job Summary
Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, and budgets while curating experiences that exceed expectations. Drive customer visit goals and increase returning customers by building authentic relationships and delivering exceptional service. Pick and pack orders, accurately handle cash transactions using the point-of-sale system, and maintain precise registers. Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, state, and DCC laws, while contributing to a positive working environment aligned with core values. This part-time role begins at $19.50/hour plus tips, with open availability required for all hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma
- Open availability
- Ability to work all hours required without restrictions, including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- Ability to work 2 weekend days (Friday-Sunday)
- Ability to stand and remain on feet for the duration of a scheduled shift — at least 4 hours per shift for part-time roles and up to 8 hours per shift for full-time roles
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and twist
- Manual dexterity sufficient to handle and count currency and operate a POS system
- Ability to work as a team player and contribute to a positive working environment
- Ability to exceed expectations by working to meet the Company's mission
- Ability to promote an environment and culture that is focused on positive and healthy interactions that align with the Company's core values
- Ability to advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis
