Job Summary
Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains while curating experiences that exceed expectations. Build authentic relationships to drive customer visit goals and increase returning customers, ensuring sales goals and business metrics are met. Pick and pack orders, accurately handle cash transactions by operating the point-of-sale system, and maintain precise register balances. Work as a team player to contribute to a positive environment, adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, and follow company training and operational standards. This part-time role begins at $19.50/hour plus tips, with full-time status based on seniority.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High school diploma
- Ability to stand and remain on feet for the duration of a scheduled shift — at least 4 hours per shift for part-time roles and up to 8 hours per shift for full-time roles
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and twist
- Manual dexterity sufficient to handle and count currency and operate a POS system
- Open availability is defined as the ability to work all hours required without restrictions, including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- All employees must be able to work 2 weekend days (Friday-Sunday), but management reserves the right to assign days depending on workforce needs
