Job Summary
Dispensary Manager oversees operations at a marijuana dispensary. Responsibilities include monitoring cannabis product inventory, hiring and training customer service, sales, and security staff, and setting standards and protocols for delivering products and services. You may communicate directly with customers to recommend products when needed, supervise all employees during transactions, and ensure customers receive documentation on product expectations. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on compliance, financial awareness, and customer service within the medical cannabis community. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience, 21+ years of age, retail management experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of retail operations and accounting principles. Retail experience is essential, and cannabis product knowledge is highly desirable.
