Job Summary
Open or close the dispensary as a key holder and balance cash and product inventory during daily closing procedures. Observe and participate in patient services during consultations and sales while auditing patient intake forms for accuracy and completion. Update the communication binder with current team information, assist with the Verified Financial Hardship program, and maintain accountability for all staff members. Provide weekly feedback to the General Manager on inventory levels and sales, help educate the team on product offerings and regulatory changes, and coordinate patient home delivery schedules. Perform general office tasks including filing records and managing copy machines while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and state laws. Work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, lifting 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality service and/or high-volume retail environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- 1 – 3 years in a retail environment managing a team
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions: General office environment
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions: Extended computer usage
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions: Extended phone usage including teleconferences
- Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions: Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations pertaining to medical marijuana, a plus
- Experience working with Excel, POS, and inventory management control systems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Green Flower and/or Ganjier certificate holder preferred
