Job Summary
Dispensary Associate supports retail cannabis sales by educating patients about products and effects, guiding customers through their purchase per state regulations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include providing empathetic, knowledgeable service; processing orders and returns; assisting with online orders and delivery as needed; maintaining a clean, well-stocked workstation; and adhering to company policies. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and meet age and licensing requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 21+ age and cash-handling experience considered assets. The role may involve delivery duties and requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. The position emphasizes confidentiality, professionalism, and effective communication with customers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or minimum 18 in CT, PA, WV)
- Prior experience in retail or customer service a plus
- Must have prior cash handling experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent people skills and written/verbal communication
- English conversational ability to work with customers and team
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery duties (if applicable)
