Job Summary
Dispensary Associate in Florida part-time responsible for guiding customers on cannabis products, educating on benefits and potential side effects, and facilitating purchases per state regulations while delivering excellent customer service. Duties include processing patient orders, handling returns with supervision, assisting online orders, maintaining a clean workstation, following company policies, and collaborating with leadership. Requires high-school diploma or equivalent, 21+ age, cash handling experience, strong communication, ability to work independently and in a team, and flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays. Position offers up to 25 hours per week with potential after-hours needs and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Prior experience in retail and/or customer service is a plus
- Must have prior cash handling experience
- Must be able to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with various personalities
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a team and with supervision
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- Must be able to read and understand written/oral instructions
- Must be able to interact with customers and team members respectfully
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to move and perform physical tasks as described in job posting
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays per store needs
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
- Must be able to see and hear or use assistive devices as needed
- Must be able to pass any required training or certifications as applicable
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
