Job Summary

Receive equipment orders and dispatch drivers to pick up and drop off goods at various venues during standard and off-standard hours. Coordinate delivery activities between drivers and customers, ensuring drivers have necessary equipment and communicating updates on delays, weather, or equipment issues. Assist with pulling and receiving equipment, verifying order accuracy, and scheduling vehicle maintenance to ensure fleet uptime. Monitor live routes using GPS and Fleetmatics to optimize production and traffic conditions, while managing manual and electronic log books. Provide directions as needed and confirm drivers adhere to Encore values and hours of service regulations. Work in warehouse and event venue environments with potential exposure to outdoor elements, irregular hours, and on-call status.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 3 years of transportation or logistics experience
  • Basic Audio-Visual Experience
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Understand hours of service rules and regulations
  • Ability to lead the organization in a safe, efficient and caring manner
  • General knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance
  • Ability to give, receive and follow written and/or oral instructions
  • High level of composure and good stress management skills
  • Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
  • Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
  • Knowledge of CDL / non-CDL rated equipment and thresholds
  • Understanding of air mile rules for both CDL and non-CDL drivers
  • Have knowledge and understanding of DOT rules and regulations
  • Ability to work both independently and cooperatively
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work safely with high degree of quality
  • High degree of team work with customers, peers, and managers
  • Ability to use and understand automated routing software
  • General competencies skills in smart phone use
  • Superior customer service skills
