Job Summary
Dispatcher responsible for organizing the daily dispatch of equipment for the branch, including scheduling drivers and coordinating deliveries, pickups, and service requests. Role involves taking customer telephone orders, arranging emergency field repairs, reviewing driver schedules, assisting inside sales as needed, and ensuring safe, timely operations in compliance with DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules. Strong emphasis on safety, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
- Diligent attention to safety
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
