Job Summary
Schedule drivers and organize daily dispatch of all equipment for the branch in a safe and timely manner. Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups, and service, while arranging emergency field repairs. Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests, collaborating with the inside sales team as needed. This Safety Sensitive role requires a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules. Candidates must possess strong multitasking skills and superior customer service abilities to handle the fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
- Diligent attention to safety
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
