Job Summary
Schedule job tasks for cranes and haul trucks after receiving requirements from external and internal customers. Record crane size, assigned operator, date, time, customer details, location, job description, special rigging needs, contact information, and invoicing data on the daily schedule. Complete job tickets with load weight, height, reach, and estimated completion times. Coordinate efforts with the On-Call dispatcher to manage overlapping assignments, equipment concerns, and manpower issues. Review all job assignments and forthcoming tasks with the On-Call person at the end of the shift. This role supports TNT Crane & Rigging's San Antonio Branch operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-7 years of industrial dispatching/scheduling duties
- 3-7 years of crane operations, and proper rigging techniques
- Ability to read, interpret, and determine that an assigned crane can perform the lift by utilizing the manufacturer's load charts
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Mechanical and analytical skills
