Job Summary
Dispatcher lead role coordinating collections, deliveries, drop-offs and recoveries for Marken (UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics). Responsibilities include receiving and reviewing orders, arranging packaging as needed, following up with LSPs to ensure packaging/instructions are clear, updating Maestro with route leg information, costs, and POB/POD, maintaining communication with the Packaging Team, creating route legs, providing documentation to drivers, tracking shipments via Maestro and Tableau, and ensuring recoveries are completed by matching manifests. The role requires 2+ years of airfreight/import/export experience (TSA, CBP, FDA), leadership to manage staff, strong problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail, and a GDP environment background.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' Experience with airfreight operations, import/export operations and related regulatory requirements (TSA, US CBP, FDA etc.)
- Preferred 2+ years Proven work experience as a dispatch lead or supervisor
- GDP environment experience
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with route planning and documentation
- Knowledge of Maestro system or similar WMS/dispatch tools
- Attention to detail and quality control
