Job Summary
Coordinate daily activities for a team of drivers operating trucks in the route collection program by directing donation collection and delivery to Savers stores efficiently. Operate computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment to assist with setting up daily routes, communicating add-ons and cancellations, and helping drivers complete assigned stops through verbal communication. Document driver start times, breaks, and estimated pick-ups while acting as a liaison between donors, drivers, and dispatch personnel to follow up on issues and account for daily paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years prior work experience in distribution, logistics, customer service or call center helpful
- General knowledge of the highway systems in which the drivers work
- Demonstrate professional interpersonal relationship skills
- Demonstrated strong customer service skills
- Demonstrate skills showing initiative, personal responsibility and accountability
- Strong working knowledge of managing two way communications
- Demonstrated organization skills
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to multi-task several incoming and outgoing communications at any one given time
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines with flexibility, and multi-task with minimal direction
- Ability to be detailed-oriented
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to work within Savers culture
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, state and Savers safety regulations and requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk and speak
