Job Summary
On-site Dispatcher/Router coordinates with WM Drivers to resolve on-route issues, assigns routes and service tickets, and uses proprietary software to manage same-day routing and prepare next-day schedules. The role handles incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales, prioritizes driver staffing to balance responsiveness and productivity, troubleshoots delivery/pickup problems, ensures same-day service for missed pickups, and may travel up to 15% to sites. Requires strong multitasking, organizational skills, and effective communication; shift hours from 6:30am to 6:30pm (HAST) with potential overtime and Saturday work depending on market needs. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED. The position is onsite in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 6 months of relevant work experience in a team setting with effective communication across multiple areas
