Job Summary
Dispatcher for ReadyMix in Annapolis, MD responsible for receiving and processing customer orders for concrete and aggregates, entering orders into the computer system to ensure accurate deliveries, verifying delivery dates, times, addresses and special instructions, educating customers on products and tools, processing COD orders including quotes and credit card charges, coordinating daily with CSC personnel, customers, delivery professionals and plant personnel to ensure efficient deliveries, monitoring KPI dashboards, troubleshooting customer issues and coordinating with managers for resolution, notifying safety and operations personnel of any issues, assigning delivery professionals, dispatching trucks to plants and sites, monitoring truck activity to maintain timely schedules, and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School education
- Experience in logistics or dispatch
- Data entry skills
- Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Able to read maps and provide written and verbal directions
