Job Summary
Coordinate shipping and scheduling of railcars to ensure timely arrivals and departures while managing raw material ordering and inventory levels. Monitor railcar movements from pick-up to delivery, oversee receiving and emptying at terminals, and facilitate warehouse transfers with accurate Datacor records. Order materials for designated sites, schedule loads for outside terminals, and prepare weekly reports for meetings. Collaborate with departments, terminals, and vendors to address delays, maintain compliance with DOT and HAZMAT regulations, and assist with assigned projects.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with DOT and HAZMAT regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with a focus on accuracy and detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of railcar logistics and terminal operations
- Experience with Datacor or similar inventory management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant HAZMAT industry experience is preferred
- Class A CDL Hazmat driver experience is preferred
