Job Summary
Coordinate daily delivery and pick-up logistics for respiratory orders, oxygen, and supplies while supervising personnel loading trucks and managing routes. Prioritize same-day deliveries based on patient needs and oversee equipment maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and preventive schedules. Manage vehicle maintenance boards, track driver productivity and overtime, and handle Q.A. paperwork for drivers and customers. Act as a back-up driver when necessary and prepare weekly on-call schedules for HCTs. Communicate equipment defects and recalls with warehouse and purchasing teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to re-prioritize quickly in fast-paced, highly stressful environment
- Must possess good verbal communication, administrative, organizational and leadership skills
- Must have strong technical skills, good sense of direction and ability to read maps
- Computer savvy with strong knowledge in MS Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent telephone skills
- Knowledge of medical equipment and maintenance
- Knowledge of the geographic area of service, New Jersey, New York, Brooklyn, and Staten Island NY
- Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, of 25 pounds or more
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years dispatching experience preferred
