Job Summary
Dispatcher, Operations (Part-Time) serves as the internal point of contact to report issues or needs for Cubs associates, tenants, contractors, vendors, and guests across event and non-event days at the Wrigley Field Campus. Responsibilities include intake of emergency and non-emergency reports via phone, radio, email, and other platforms, ensuring complete and accurate information for response deployment, monitoring information channels, routing information to appropriate functions, and coordinating frontline responses during large-scale events. The role requires working knowledge of radio systems, incident management software, and video systems, the ability to problem-solve proactively, and availability to work nontraditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays). Candidates should have at least 3 years of dispatch experience or equivalent within Cubs Operations and demonstrate professional communication and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Dispatch center within the last ten years or three years experience working within Chicago Cubs Operations
- Working knowledge of radio systems, incident management software, and video systems
- Must be able to work nontraditional hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as needed around events
- Active listener with professional communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, exuding a mature demeanor while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and consistency
- Ability to thrive in a team setting
- Experience with facility management software platforms
