Dispatcher

Operate the telephone system to manage requests for emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, accurately gathering information to create service records and patient accounts. Oversee dispatching services for ambulances within Athens-Clarke, Oconee, Rockdale, and Morgan counties while monitoring multiple radio channels to relay critical information between patients and crews. Use prescheduled call information to manage daily resources, monitor unit availability, and adjust for priority cases. Collect and report daily statistics on call volumes and unit utilization to management, maintaining logs for seamless shift transitions. Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and identify potential issues for management review. This six-month introductory probationary period ensures your success in the role.
