Job Summary
Take client calls, monitor radio and telephone communications, and coordinate on-road service quality for MV Transportation's Seattle-based operations. Direct daily route activities by assigning trips, tracking driver sign-in and sign-out times, and reporting service issues or late starts to supervisors. Maintain safe, cost-effective performance by influencing employee morale and ensuring timely route completion. Participate in system performance analysis and review operating metrics. Requires one year of dispatcher experience, Trapeze software proficiency, and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred
- Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred
- Experience with Trapeze software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Demonstrate a high customer service commitment
- Able to demonstrate professional phone manner
- Knowledge of the service area is a plus
