Job Summary
Dispatcher coordinates and disseminates air traffic information to pilots, ground handlers, and customers; maintains communications with line operations and air carriers via two-way radios; communicates flight release and fuel load information to operations; compiles information for final billing, maintains flight logs and schedules, and arranges accommodations for flight delays. The role requires reading and writing in English, physical ability to lift 70lbs, and comfort working in all weather conditions; on-site duties at Honolulu, HI. The position involves collaboration across departments, safety and compliance responsibilities, and interacting with flight crews, passengers, and service providers.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
- 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
