Job Summary
Dispatcher for ABC Home & Commercial Services in the Mechanical Services division. Receive, schedule, and dispatch emergency and non-emergency customer requests during regular business hours; schedule service appointments; communicate with customers, technicians, and service managers; execute department dispatch strategy; maintain customer records; collaborate with team to meet customer expectations; adapt to fast-paced environment; strong written and verbal communication; Spanish proficiency a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 1 Yr Experience in Trade Dispatching, scheduling OR call center experience
- Must be able to type at least 30 WPM, proficient in 10-key, and use a phone system
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate well, using excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
- High proficiency with emailing, instant messaging, and various electronic devices and applications for effective communication/information sharing
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Proficient in Spanish a plus
- Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application
Additional Requirements
- Local to Austin, TX area only
- Must be able to work regular schedule (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm) with training shifts (7am-4pm) and potential hybrid remote after 90 days
