Job Summary
Dispatcher (MC) focused on scheduling technicians cost-effectively to enhance customer experiences and reduce operating costs. Responsible for monitoring and dispatching service, PMs, and installations, updating the dispatch board, aligning GPS with dispatch activities, producing daily outlooks and next-day updates, prioritizing parts for return visits, and communicating with customers and Field Supervisors to coordinate workloads and timelines. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, knowledge of HVAC/Propane service timelines, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school and/or college degree preferred
- Knowledge of Maryland and PA territories
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Able to address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Must be able to work in a demanding environment with interruptions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, with attention to detail
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software/technology for maintenance reports
- Understanding of typical HVAC/Propane service work and time frames for job completion
- Understanding of safe work standards for field technicians
