Dispatcher - La Porte, TX

Conduct all dispatch business in accordance with company policies while managing hiring needs, onboarding, and candidate sourcing. Research new sources for active and passive candidate searches, post job openings in newspapers and online venues, and conduct follow-ups with managers to evaluate recruiting plans. Enter data into the dispatch database to maintain active and inactive job listings, process new hire paperwork, and verify personnel compliance with drug and alcohol consortium requirements. Add and remove personnel to drug and alcohol rosters and schedule random testing. Maintain poise under time constraints and adverse conditions while attending required trainings. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime common. Requires a high school diploma and six months of dispatch or recruiting experience.
