Job Summary
Monitor loads assigned to drivers, resolving issues affecting pickup or delivery schedules while communicating proactively with customers regarding mechanical problems, traffic, or weather. Maintain documentation of driver detention time and enforce company safety policies through daily messages and monthly briefings. Communicate professionally with internal and external drivers via phone and system messages to minimize turnover and improve satisfaction. Manage company equipment by coordinating with fleet maintenance teams to ensure vehicle readiness and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
- Ability to meet or exceed driver needs to provide excellent service
- Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives
- Customer Service/Account Manager, Transportation/Logistics
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of transportation, customer service, or other relevant experience
