Coordinate trucks and drivers for Division 8 Operations, ensuring optimal planning and continuous execution without delays. Manage driver assignments, tracking, and rail billing while addressing pickup numbers, seal issues, and DOT compliance. Handle last free day management, empty returns, and equipment utilization to minimize drays and maximize opportunities. Review inventory on yard, loads, or empties to plan deliveries, pull driver pay for productivity reviews, and address low performers with the Operations Manager. Train drivers on tablet/mobile apps and ensure adherence to DOT regulations and safety training. Communicate daily with team members on objectives, customer service representatives on delivery delays, and other divisions for reloading opportunities. Maintain confidentiality of driver pay and customer accounts while assisting in improving driver retention.
