Job Summary
Plan daily and weekly driver schedules to maximize freight coverage while coordinating appointments across all IMC locations. Assign orders to drivers for road, local, or city routes and manage equipment issues, detention time, and rail billing requests. Complete dispatch lines in SWS, track yard reports, and oversee HOS and ELD updates. Handle driver service failures, apply additional charges, and process ATPs and non-productive pay. Manage roadside repairs and rail/port reservations. Actively participate in recruiting and retention. Work Monday through Friday with weekends as needed, utilizing discretion and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with GPA Navis system
- Driver HOS
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and/or hazardous materials
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- 3–5 years of intermodal experience
