Job Summary
Execute a daily plan for freight movement across assigned areas by assessing customer needs, managing driver schedules, and planning deliveries to retail gas outlets. Receive orders from suppliers and distributors, create loads in the dispatch system, and divide responsibilities with team members. Provide frontline customer service by answering phone calls promptly, monitoring web portals for inventory updates, and entering incidents into the KITS reporting system. Solicit additional freight from customers to meet demand. This role supports the company's commitment to high-quality product delivery and effective teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of dispatching experience
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
