Job Summary
Manage all aspects of communications and PBX equipment operation, including radio dispatch to maintenance, security, and building services. Coordinate directly with emergency and medical environments while utilizing computer software such as Word and Access. Maintain clear verbal communication with PBX systems and ensure typing speed meets the 35 words per minute requirement. This full-time day role supports OakBend Medical Center's independent hospital operations, which include a signature No Wait ER, advanced trauma center, and hospital-based skilled nursing facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years dispatcher/PBX experience in a medical or emergency environment
- Computer knowledge with working knowledge of software programs, Word, Access, and Basic PC
- Strong communication skills
- Clear speaking with PBX

- Typing minimum 35 words per minute
