Job Summary
Monitor daily schedules and driver progress to maximize productivity, adjusting routes and developing alternate plans to minimize disruptions. Communicate delays, breakdowns, and missed pickups to the commercial team in real time while tracking documentation for route completion and driver locations. Use telematics technology to ensure timely route completion and review equipment requirements to address concerns promptly. Provide courteous service to customers and report driver performance issues to management while adhering to all safety policies. Requires 2+ years of dispatcher experience managing fleets of 35+ drivers, strong computer skills, and DOT regulation knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior dispatcher experience
- Experience managing or dispatching a fleet of 35+ drivers
- Strong computer skills
