Job Summary
Coordinate and schedule deliveries, assign driver routes, and assemble orders while monitoring routing software and communicating with drivers throughout the day. Create transportation manifests, facilitate payment processing, and resolve route issues or order questions with a positive attitude. Maintain knowledge of company products, scheduling processes, and state laws regarding medical cannabis and delivery regulations to ensure safe, compliant operations. Manage driver availability and make approved changes in scheduling tools as needed. Requires 1+ years in dispatch or logistics, strong computer skills, and the ability to work varying schedules including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a working phone with a connection to internet services
- Ability to verbally communicate and hear audio
- Must pass a pre-employment/post-offer background check
- Must be reliable and dependable at all times
- Flexible schedule -ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods, crouch, bend, and carry up to 10 lbs
- 1+ years dispatch and/or logistics experience
- 2 + years customer service experience
- Superior communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong computer skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office products
- Experience working with smartphone applications
- Good teamwork mentality
- Experience in the transportation/dispatch industry
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and problem solving skills
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to a start-up environment that is fast-paced and constantly changing
- Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays
Desired Qualifications
- Must have the necessary skills and knowledge to make route changes and assignments in the routing software
- Light Scheduling - knowledge related to scheduling and driver availability
- Ability to learn the use of scheduling tools and make approved changes if necessary
