Job Summary
Supervise, motivate, and support a large team of drivers and driver helpers, including managing schedules and documentation. Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, food safety standards, and vehicle maintenance requirements. Receive and relay critical information from airline clients and the airport, process meal ordering, and update transportation databases. Maintain a safe workplace by providing general information to the public and relevant parties regarding department policies and laws. Create and maintain reports as needed while performing additional duties assigned by management. This role requires working long hours on foot in varying temperatures, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar fast-paced role
- Works well independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent planning and coordination skills
- Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills
- Dedication and attention to detail concerning customer service
- Solution seeker and effective decision maker
- The ability to manage quickly to overcome any deficiencies in the transportation department
- Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations
