Job Summary
Entry-level Dispatcher to coordinate drivers, monitor routes in real time, manage communications, troubleshoot on-road issues, and ensure safe, efficient delivery execution. This on-site role in Sewickley, PA requires open availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will handle daily dispatch and driver support, route assignments, real-time monitoring, safety and performance tracking, issue resolution, and shift/closeout tasks. Leadership-track responsibilities include onboarding, coaching, and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence with opportunities for advancement (e.g., DA Manager, Ops Manager, Senior Dispatcher). The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, problem-solving under pressure, and physical ability to assist with delivery duties when needed. Training to master dispatching and delivery is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Open availability - mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Comfortable working 40+ hours per week
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve quickly under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform delivery duties when needed
- Complete full DA training and pass certification
