Job Summary
Dispatcher Coordinator at Legends Global/Salt Palace Convention Center oversees real-time service requests during live events, logging requests in the work order system, and dispatching tasks to Event Setup, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams. Maintains real-time updates with Event Managers, monitors progress, coordinates across departments for concurrent events, and documents resolutions for post-event reporting. Responsible for validating operational activity, ensuring accuracy of recorded activity, and preparing for high-traffic event days. Requires in-office duties, ability to walk rooms to verify completions, and readiness for evening/weekend shifts; in-office role with a salary range of $55K–$61K.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in dispatch, event coordination, or facilities management preferably in a convention center or large venue
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with work order systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient under pressure in a dynamic, high-volume environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
