Job Summary
Take incoming radio, phone, and in-person calls to document details and escalate to proper resources. Dispatch security, cleaning services, and building operators to facility issues, including medical, fire, and disturbances. Monitor CCTV and provide support to security agents, while overseeing monitoring systems and escalating equipment alarms. Provide detailed documentation of activity into event logs and communicate regular updates via email distribution groups. Manage key access through the control system, process contractor sign-in/out, and obtain maintenance inspections and equipment audits. Contact tenants for critical property concerns and complete reports related to site-owned security equipment. Prioritize tasks under stressful conditions while maintaining objectivity and following policy.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills for contractor and customer interactions
- Computer literacy with multiple computer software programs
- Ability to prioritize work tasks
- Able to display objectivity and sound judgement
- Willingness/Ability to learn and retain large amounts of information
- Possess crisis management skills and work under stressful conditions
- Above-average observation skills
- Ability to follow policy and procedure
- Dependable and professional in all job functions
- Prior experience in security dispatching
- High School Diploma/GED
