Dispatcher

Dispatch drivers to calls as they are received, balancing cost and customer satisfaction by routing vehicles to achieve company-established productivity goals. Assign routes and service to appropriate drivers throughout the day and the next day, managing actions to ensure completion while handling incoming calls and emails regarding pick-ups and deliveries. Initiate communication to customers while drivers are on-site to resolve delays, updating Customer Care of any service issues to keep clients notified. Prepare and update daily route schedules, maintaining documentation for pick-ups, missed stops, and driver locations. Report driver performance concerns to management and participate in training to expand knowledge of company products and services.
