Job Summary
Coordinate store deliveries by assigning drivers, communicating schedule changes, and ensuring loads are built correctly with the lumberyard team. Manage the delivery fleet by maintaining equipment safety per DOT regulations and verifying driver logs. Utilize the delivery dispatch management system to improve efficiency while cultivating customer relationships and promoting team goals. This active role requires strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills. Required Qualifications
- Previous driving and/or dispatching experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Customer service skills to cultivate relationships
- Ability to multitask while remaining organized
- Must enjoy being active
