Job Summary
Manage inbound driver calls and emails to assign resources to loads while minimizing deadhead runs. Develop logistical plans for efficient, on-time delivery and maintain contact with drivers throughout the trip. Provide regular updates to sales, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding status and timelines. Engage with 40 field offices to optimize driver utilization and modify assignments to accommodate complex logistical needs. Support safety and compliance initiatives, including training and hours of service regulations. Maintain engagement with internal stakeholders to ensure the driver population aligns with forecasted volume. This role supports Auto Driveaway's national network of professional drivers, ensuring quality, accountability, and reliability on every trip for corporate fleets and OEMs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of dispatch experience
- Strong background in transportation, logistics or related fields
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- High energy, enthusiasm and drive for achieving results
- Passionate about safety and customer experience
- Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Project planning and project management skills
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment, recognizing a sense of urgency and self-motivation
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required
