Job Summary
Coordinate communications between drivers, customers, shippers, and internal teams to ensure freight moves on schedule while maintaining compliance and exceptional service standards. Assist load planners and dispatch personnel with scheduling deliveries, managing pickup requests, and routing, organizing, and filing freight documentation accurately. Serve as a professional point of contact for drivers and customers via phone, email, and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to handle inquiries, pre-plans, and route updates. Support fleet maintenance by coordinating preventive and corrective activities, communicating with repair vendors, and processing purchase orders for equipment issues. Process approved operational expenditures, verify supporting documentation before issuing payments, and maintain accurate records in company systems. Work onsite in Commerce, CA at $18.00 per hour with full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow operational procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions
- Ability to write professional correspondence and maintain accurate records
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy

Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, customer service, fleet operations, or a related environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Transportation or trucking industry experience
- Working knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
- Familiarity with Qualcomm, Rand McNally, PeopleNet, or similar fleet management platforms
- Experience using McLeod software
- Exposure to maintenance coordination, fleet operations, or repair vendor management
